Is this you?

Have wanted to speak up for your needs before — and you're ready to break the pattern.
Wonder how to find your voice and actually assert yourself in your relationships.
Want relationships that serve you — and to believe, somewhere in there, that you deserve it.

I'll be honest with you, because I think that's what actually helps.

A lot of the women I work with can advocate for everyone in their life except one person. Themselves.

They'll tell me what their friend should text back, what their sister deserves, what their coworker should ask for — and then go quiet about what they want.

So I ask the slightly annoying question: is that really what you want for yourself? Or is it just what you've been told to want?

We'll laugh, I'll probably share a little too much, and I'll gently call you on the things you already know but haven't said out loud.

Dating, breakups, the situationship that's quietly wrecking you — none of it is too small to bring in.

You're allowed to want more — and to believe you'd deserve it if you got it.

What the work can feel like.

It's honest, and it isn't stiff. I'll share a story if it helps, I'll probably make you laugh, and I'll gently call you on the things you already know but haven't said out loud. Most of the women I work with can advocate for everyone in their life except themselves, so a lot of what we do is practice pointing that same voice inward.

Expect the slightly annoying questions: is that really what you want for yourself, or is it just what you've been told to want? Dating, breakups, the situationship that's quietly wrecking you — none of it is too small to bring in.

The shift usually shows up in small, real ways — a need you voice without over-explaining, a text you don't agonize over, an inner critic that's a little quieter than it was.

You're allowed to want more — and to believe you'd deserve it if you got it.

How I work.

I'm warm, direct, and pretty chatty. I'll share a story if it helps, I'll make you laugh, and I'll be honest with you in the moments it actually matters — that's usually where the shift happens.

I draw on CBT to interrupt the harsh self-talk, attachment work to understand your patterns in relationships and dating, and solution-focused tools so you leave with something usable. For more on why this kind of work changes things over time, see Why Therapy Works.

Questions about working with Elaina — answered.

Who does Elaina work best with?

Single and dating women in their 20s and 30s working on self-worth and relationships — people who are great at advocating for everyone but themselves and want to change that.

Can Elaina help if I'm not in a relationship right now?

Absolutely. A lot of my work is with people who are single or dating — building self-worth, navigating breakups and situationships, and figuring out what you actually want before the next relationship, not during it.

What's Elaina's style like?

Warm, direct, and a little funny. I'll be honest with you, I'll share when it helps, and I'll gently name the things you already sense but haven't said out loud. Therapy with me isn't stiff.

What does a first session with Elaina look like?

Mostly getting to know you and what brought you in. No pressure to have it together — we just start talking, and you'll get a feel pretty quickly for whether we click.

How will I know if therapy with Elaina is helping?

Often it's a need you voice without over-explaining, a text you don't agonize over, or a quieter inner critic. I won't promise a timeline, but you'll have a clear sense of what we're working toward.
